To members of the Hazardous Area Response Teams (HART) up and down the country, PROCLUS software needs little introduction. Used by HART teams across the eleven NHS ambulance trusts, PROCLUS has underpinned the success and development of the HART programme itself, resulting in the successful establishment of specially trained ambulance personnel who are prepared and equipped to deal with the most challenging emergency responses.

Chris Cooper, HART Manager at Great Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust: “PROCLUS generates a report with the number of HART jobs broken down, which is great for my monthly report, so much so that I hope this tool will be expanded further in future updates. Anyone can review what jobs the previous team did, which is a great benefit. It is a very useful tool which provides standardisation across all HART units, locally and nationally and helps establish a nationally consistent standard.”

Mick Hardaker, HART Manager at Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust: “We have had PROCLUS since the first week of inception, two years ago. In the last 20 months everything we have done has been recorded on PROCLUS. The advantage to me is the training side, which is really useful but it also captures all the information I need for report writing and I can view all of those reports in a monthly bundle.”

Who should consider PROCLUS?

The software can be tailored to individual organisations’ requirements, but its core features make it ideal for all types of emergency service bodies, including ambulance, police, fire and rescue, emergency planners and responders, air ambulances and local resilience forums.
